Home · Events in Bristol This Week
As the academic year gets underway, Bristol has a lively feel. The city is buzzing with activity, and if you’re looking for **things to do in Bristol this week**, you’ll find a lot happening, especially for students starting their courses. It’s a time when Bristol’s nightlife really picks up with fresh energy. The main theme this week is music, particularly electronic music. You can enjoy drum and bass raves, alongside house, garage and jungle nights, many with a welcome for new students. Beyond the clubs, there are live performances from touring musicians, from classic rock to reggae, at venues across the city. For something different, a well-known comedian is performing a multi-night stand-up show. If you’re looking to meet people, there are themed quiz nights and speed dating events for different age groups. Families are also catered for, with a creative art workshop for home-educated children. While the start of term focuses on student life and evening entertainment, there’s still a wide range of cultural and social events happening throughout the week.
